*** These bags are inspired by the wildlife and people of Guyana, South America, especially the native giant otter. I recently traveled to Guyana to do a field research study on the giant otters that inhabit the Rupununi River. During my time in Guyana, I met so many amazing people and learned a great deal, not just about the otters, but about the local Amerindian population. The otters, as well as the native people, depend on the rivers that meander through the South American interior. The rivers provide an abundant source of fish, which simultaneously supports the giant otters' dietary needs as well as a source of income for the Amerindians. Unfortunately, due to pollution and gold mining operations, the rivers and the lives they support are in great danger. So what is the greatest aspect of my products? 100% of the proceeds go towards giant otter conservation and aide for the local people in Guyana! So please, buy a bag, enjoy, and help spread the word! ***
